The first OU men’s basketball telecast of the season Tuesday night against Louisiana-Monroe on KAUT-43 was hampered by poor picture quality that made it difficult to watch.

OU athletic spokesman Kenny Mossman said he was hopeful the problem would be resolved before the Sooners’ next telecast at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Virginia Commonwealth, which will air on KAUT and Cox 7.

"We have been in contact with KAUT,” Mossman said. "Another of our network affiliates told us (Wednesday) that it was the cleanest feed they had ever received from us so we’re confident that we sent the game out in good quality.”

Bob Carpenter and Charlie Spoonhour are calling the six Sooner Sports Network games.

BEDLAM COVERAGE

Fox Sports Oklahoma is planning extensive programming next week to preview its Bedlam game telecast from Norman at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 28.

An "In Your Own Words” segment with OSU donor Boone Pickens will premiere at 6 p.m. Tuesday. A half-hour Bedlam Series Preview will debut at 5 p.m. Thursday. Another preview show, "Border/Bedlam: Back to Back” will look at the Bedlam game and the Kansas-Missouri game. It will debut at noon Friday. The shows will repeat several times.
