The Thunder benefited from the snow and ice storm that blanketed Oklahoma last week as the Nuggets-Thunder game on Jan. 26 produced the highest-rated Thunder game ever on Fox Sports Oklahoma, a 4.0 in Oklahoma City. The previous high was a 3.9 for FSOK’s Nov. 3 Lakers telecast.

Ken Adelson, Thunder senior vice president and executive producer, said combined ratings on FSOK and KSBI-52, Thunder TV, are up 50 percent from last year’s inaugural season.

"It’s building steadily,” Adelson said.

KSBI’s season high was a 3.2 for the opener Oct. 28 against Sacramento.

Adelson said the Thunder is now reaching almost 1.7 million homes on FSN, including 365,000 homes in Kansas and 321,000 homes in Arkansas.
