Medical helicopter lands safely near Tulsa
A medical helicopter landed safely on a farm near Jones Riverside Airport after its hydraulics system failed Thursday afternoon.
No injuries were reported.
Rick Winfield , who owns the horse farm at 10242 S. Elwood Ave., just south of the airport, said the pilot told him that he flew toward a wide-open area of the farm after the helicopter’s hydraulics failed.
