Dental screenings free for kids

More than 200 dentists across Oklahoma will provide free dental screenings for elementary schoolchildren on July 31. The dentists who have signed up will provide the screenings to children at their individual offices. Participating dentists are located in 40 cities: Antlers, Bixby, Broken Arrow, Catoosa, Coalgate, Cordell, Cushing, Del City, Durant, Edmond, El Reno, Enid, Glenpool, Guthrie, Henryetta, Kingfisher, Konawa, Laverne, Lawton, Marietta, McAlester, Midwest City, Moore, Muskogee, Norman, Oklahoma City, Oologah, Owasso, Pawhuska, Poteau, Purcell, Sallisaw, Sapulpa, Shawnee, Skiatook, Spiro, Stigler, Tahlequah, Tulsa, and Yukon. Parents are encouraged to make an appointment for a free screening by contacting one of the participating dentists listed on the Oklahoma Dental Association website at www.okda.org.
