Each year, the Housing and Urban Development Department provides eligible cities with block grant funds to revitalize neighborhoods, develop affordable housing, expand economic opportunities and provide public services, principally to benefit low- and moderate-income households.

The neighborhood meetings allow residents to meet and discuss area needs.

All the meetings will be in the multipurpose room at city hall, 201 W Gray St.

The first meeting will be at 7 p.m. Thursday for the Old Silk Stocking and Larsh/Miller neighborhoods.

Original Townsite and First Courthouse Neighborhoods will meet at 7 p.m. July 12. University Neighborhood will meet at 7 p.m. July 20.

Special assistance for disabled people who wish to attend is available by calling 366-5322.
