Memphis extends football coach Justin Fuente's contract

Memphis coach Justin Fuente, who played quarterback at Tulsa Union and Oklahoma, received a one-year contract extension, according to the Commerical Appeal of Memphis, Tenn.
Fuente went 4-8 in his first season, but led the Tigers to three straight wins to finish the year. His contract now runs through the 2017 season.
