Memphis honoring Grizzlies F Randolph on Friday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph is getting his own day Friday in the city of Memphis in honor of all his charity work in the community.

Mayor A C Wharton is declaring Friday as "Zach Randolph Day in Memphis, and the Grizzlies forward will be accepting the proclamation at an event benefiting Le Bonheur Children's Hospital that afternoon.

The NBA honored Randolph as the league's player of the month in November for his community work.
