→Keiton Page, 5-7, Fr., G vs. Bobby Maze, 6-2, Jr., G

Ex-Sooner Maze is more experienced, but his point-guard play is sometimes erratic.

Edge: Tennessee

→Byron Eaton, 5-11, Sr., G vs. Scotty Hopson, 6-7, Fr., G

Eaton should be able to penetrate effectively against the bigger Vols. Edge: OSU

→Terrel Harris, 6-5, Sr., G vs. Tyler Smith, 6-7, Jr., F

OSU’s best defender vs. Vols’ leading scorer. Edge: Tennessee

→James Anderson, 6-6, So., F vs. J.P. Prince, 6-7, Jr., F

Prince is talented, but Anderson is the better scorer and rebounder. Edge: OSU

→Marshall Moses, 6-6, So., F vs. Wayne Chism, 6-9, Jr., F

Chism is tough inside; if Moses gets early fouls, the Cowboys will be in trouble. Edge: Tennessee

→OSU bench (Obi Muonelo, Anthony Brown and Nick Sidorakis) vs. Tennessee bench (Cameron Tatum, Josh Tabb and Brian Williams)

Vols’ top three reserves combine to average about 18 points and 10 rebounds. OSU’s only real spark off the bench is Muonelo.

Edge: Tennessee

→Travis Ford, first year at OSU, vs. Bruce Pearl, fourth year at Tennessee

Ford’s team has played better down the stretch. But Pearl is much more experienced and is 7-5 in the NCAA Tournament. Ford is 0-1. Edge: Pearl
