OKC-area housing market smaller
The housing market is shrinking.
Home sales handled in 2010 by Realtors in the Oklahoma City area — 14,524 transactions — dropped to $2.23 billion, the third year in a row to see a decline, according to the Metro Association of Realtors.
It was a 6.1 percent drop from $2.37 billion in 2009, when there were 16,038 sales.
And that was a 5.4 percent drop from $2.51 billion in 2008, when there were 16,388 ...
