Tickets to benefit Africa wells

Visitors to the Science Museum Oklahoma movie theater today will help build water wells at schools in Africa.

MacGillivray Freeman Films will donate $1 of every ticket sold to the movie "Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk” to efforts to build water wells at schools in northern Uganda.

The movie is about effects of global warming and poor irrigation planning on the Colorado and other rivers.

"Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk” show times today are 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Tickets are $8.25 for adults and $6.75 for children and seniors.
