Mets pitcher Jeremy Hefner teams up with pub to benefit tornado victims

Jeremy Hefner, the New York Mets pitcher who played at Perkins-Tryon but spent 10 years growing up in Moore, is teaming up with a New York bar and grill to help victims of the Moore tornado.


According to the New York Daily News, Foley’s Pub and Restaurant has renamed one of its menu items the 405 Burger, for Moore’s area code. Foley’s owner, Shaun Clancy, told the newspaper that every penny from every 405 Burger bought in June is earmarked for tornado victims and will be given to relief efforts through LifeChurch.tv.
