MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico goalkeeper Jesus Corona did not sustain a major injury in the match against Israel and was able to travel to Texas with El Tri on Thursday ahead of three more World Cup warmup games.

Corona sustained a bruise when his head collided with a leg of defender Francisco Rodriguez during the second half of Mexico's 3-0 win Wednesday. Corona was carted off the field and taken to a hospital tests, then returned to the team hotel.

Mexico's soccer federation said Thursday "a major injury is ruled out."
