MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico coach Miguel Herrera has kept only 13 members of his World Cup squad for the team's upcoming international friendlies against Chile and Bolivia.

Two months after his team reached the Round of 16 in Brazil, where it lost 2-1 to the Netherlands, Herrera made a series of changes in a 22-man squad to face Chile on Sept. 6 in San Francisco and Bolivia on Sept. 9 in Denver.

Two uncapped players in the squad are defender Miguel Herrera and midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro, both of whom are expected to figure in Mexico's plans for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
