You had hit only two of your previous 18 shots before getting hot and scoring 25 points. Had you lost any confidence?
“I didn't lose any confidence. I was just picking my spots better. I think I was rushing my shot, not squaring up to the basket. I watched a little bit of film on my shots, and I made the correction.”
You were 6-of-6 on two-point shots. Did you see something from the game that led you to believe you could do that?
“It just kind of happened. I didn't stop settling for the three. I knew with KD (Kevin Durant) on me, I was going to have a lot of open looks. I know the way they've been playing all series, they've been helping off of me and letting me have those shots, and I've just been missing them. I think they forgot about me and let me roam a little bit more tonight.”
Did you take it as a slight that the Thunder put Durant on you, to protect him from foul trouble?
“Yeah, I took that as a little sign of disrespect. For me, I worked too hard to be in the position I'm in now. Even though my offense wasn't clicking three games in the series, I wanted to step up for my team, and I was able to do that.”
