Mid-Del district opens school year

Classes opened Monday in the Midwest City-Del City school district.

Mid-Del Schools opened its doors

Monday to more than 14,500 students. The district has been

making improvements to all of its schools courtesy of the most recently passed bond election. Two new elementary schools

are being constructed and are expected to open for the 2014-

2015 school year. In addition, major

renovations have been taking place at Del City Elementary, with the construction of a new wing. Monday, students, parents and staff walked into a newly remodeled

Epperly Heights

Elementary in Del City. The school has received a new look starting with the main entrance and it

continues throughout every room in the school.
