Mid-First Bank branch in Oklahoma City robbed Saturday

The robber is believed to be the same man who robbed the ONB Bank in Edmond on Thursday, police said

The FBI and Oklahoma City police are investigating the robbery of a Mid-First Bank on Saturday.

The branch at 7403 S Penn was robbed about 10:40 a.m., Oklahoma City police Capt. Dexter Nelson said. The robber jumped over the teller counter and once behind it, he emptied several drawers. No weapon was seen by employees. He fled on foot.

The robber is believed to be the same man who robbed ONB Bank in Edmond on Thursday, Nelson said.

He is described as a white male in his mid 40s with an average to stocky build. He is about 5-foot-8 with brown and gray hair with a ponytail and a mustache.

At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black Oklahoma State University Nike jacket with an OSU logo and Nike logo in orange, along with baggy pants.
