MIDWEST CITY — A 3-year-old boy died this morning after accidentally shooting himself in a bedroom where police found several loaded guns.

Ethan Tucker of Midwest City was staying with grandparents at 805 Hunters Run while his mother was at work, Midwest City Police Chief Brandon Clabes said.
Clabes said Ethan’s 21-year-old uncle put him in his bedroom about 3 a.m. and a short time later heard a gunshot. The boy shot himself in the head, the police chief said.
Ethan was taken to Midwest Regional Medical Center, where he died.
Clabes said there were several loaded pistols and rifles in the bedroom where the boy was put to sleep.
