Maaco is donating the boxes that Elks will set up Friday. On Saturday, the day starts at 6 a.m., when volunteers from these organizations unload trucks, and begin to load the boxes for the baskets.

The baskets will include everything needed for a turkey dinner as well as enough groceries for a family of four for one week. We estimate that the total cost of the baskets will exceed $80 each this year.

A number of the baskets will be delivered to families who have no way to come to the lodge to pick them up, but the vast majority will come to the lodge to pick up their baskets. While they are there, the kiddies will get to see Santa Claus and to pick out some toys, provided by the American Legion. Coffee and hot chocolate will be served to our guests.
