October is fall festival time

October is traditionally fall festival time in Midwest City, with several special events planned for children and families. For more information regarding the October events, call Parks and Recreation at 739-1293.

Boo Bash

When: 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 18.

Where: Nick Harroz Community Center.

Who: Midwest City residents or Mid-Del students currently enrolled in fourth or fifth grade may attend.

Cost: $5 tickets can be bought at the Community Center, 200 N Midwest Blvd., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Trick or Treat City

When: 2 to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 26.

Where: Joe B. Barnes Regional Park, Reno Avenue and Douglas Boulevard.

Who: Trick or treating event is free for all ages of children.

Cost: Tokens are four for $1 and available for the carnival and games. Children are encouraged to wear costumes.

Trick or Treat City Special Needs

When: 1 to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 31.

Where: Nick Harroz Community Center.

Cost: Free.
