Midwest City's KeSean Brown wins Fans' Choice poll

Midwest City running back KeSean Brown held off a late charge by McGuinness' Jacob Lewis to win the Fans' Choice City-Area Football Player of the Week poll on Tuesday.

Brown, who received 628 votes, had a big game on Friday, rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns in the Bombers' 49-25 win against Edmond Santa Fe. He also returned a kickoff 80 yards for a TD.

Midwest City travels to Jenks on Friday in a heavyweight battle in Class 6A.

Lewis, after being named the Co-Player of the Week by the fans last week, lost the vote by just 66 votes.

KeSean Brown, Midwest City: 628 votes (32.3 pct.)

Jacob Lewis, McGuinness: 562 votes (28.91 pct.)

Luke Frankfurt, Oklahoma Christian: 281 votes (14.45 pct.)

Chandler Garrett, Mustang: 242 votes (12.45 pct.)

Jesse Gregory, Tuttle: 149 votes (7.66 pct.)

Clayton Sims, Jones: 82 votes (4.22 pct.)

Total: 1,944 votes
