The Oklahoman's OU basketball beat writer, Mike Baldwin, participated in Wednesday's Power Lunch live chat on NewsOK.com. Here's a look at some of what Mike had to say:

— On the biggest matchup for OU vs. Texas:

“Dogus Balbay guarding Carl Blair. Balbay is one of the best defensive point guards in the country. Blair picked up his second, third and fourth fouls early in the second half in Austin and OU fell behind by double digits and never recovered.”

— On if Cade Davis is hurting the team by chucking up six 3-pointers a game:

“Cade Davis has had some games where he's attempted only four or five shots total. Davis is capable of having monster games. He has to shoot to see if he's on or not. If he's off he usually tries to help the team in other ways. I wouldn't say he's hurting the team. If he's hot he can carry a team, sort of like the first half Saturday in Stillwater.”

— On if Jeff Capel will be OU's coach this time next year:
