The Oklahoman's OU men's basketball beat writer Mike Baldwin answered questions from readers in today's Power Lunch chat. Read the entire chat recap here. Participate in our Power Lunch chats Monday-Friday at 11 a.m. at NewsOK.com/sports On how the Sooners will replace running back DeMarco Murray: The running attack will be much different. Bob Stoops repeatedly has said it will be running back by committee, that no back is far enough along to carry the ball 20-plus times a game and they're so close in where they are at this point in their careers that a lot of different backs will get carries. But overall I wouldn't anticipate much of a dropoff. It will just look different. If I had to guess right now I'd say Roy Finch edges Brennan Clay [in number of carries for OU]. But the others could be in the mix, too, for most carries. On what position is most vulnerable for the Sooners: I say the interior of the defensive line but Bob Stoops was adamant yesterday in Dallas at Media Day that he's not as concerned as others, that guys gained some experience last year and should be much improved. On whether quarterback Landry Jones has "turned a corner:" I felt Landry turned the corner last season. NFL scouts love his talent. The only issue I've had with Landry Jones is he can sometimes get a little rattled when under extreme pressure but you could say that about a lot of QBs. There's a reason many say he's one of the top candidates for the Heisman Trophy. It's due to how well he played much of last season. On the two biggest conference games for the Sooners: OU at OSU and OSU at Texas A&M followed by A&M at OU. Those are the three teams most capable of winning the Big 12 so the head-to-head meetings will be huge. And remember they all tied at 6-2 in the Big 12 South last season.
