Number of steals Jason Kidd needs to climb to fourth all-time behind John Stockton (3,265), Michael Jordan (2,514) and Gary Payton (2,445).

Kidd (2,198) currently is seventh. In front of him are Thunder assistant coach Mo Cheeks (2,310), Scottie Pippen (2,307) and Clyde Drexler (2,207).

Last season Kidd compiled 160 steals. Kidd should surpass Drexler before Thanksgiving. Kidd could catch Pippen and Cheeks soon after the All-Star break.
