Why do you keep hiring these girls to cover sports? That's crazy.

They're women. Bright young women with a passion for sports and telling stories. I hire them because I want to provide customers like you with the best sports coverage possible. Don't prejudge. Give them a chance. You'll be pleased with the results from them and our entire staff.

Mike, who do you see West Virginia losing to?

In the Big 12? OU-WVU is a push. I think the OSU-WVU is too. But WVU has K-State and TCU in Morgantown, so I wouldn't say the same about those games ... I'd like to say I see them losing to Maryland but come on.

I watched college football media days. Seems like Tennessee coach Derek Dooley is on the hot seat this season for sure. Do you think he gets fired after this season?

Tennessee's football coaching spot is one of the hottest seats in the country because Vols fans have an unrealistic view of the program. Big does not equal Great. They're not Texas A&M fans on the unrealistic scale, but they have no patience. I really wish UT would get back to being a factor, because it's important to that state and I love Tennessee. Lived there for five years (Brentwood, TN). Great place, good people. But they think (mistakenly) that SEC title contention is a birthright. It's not. Give Dooley some time. What's it been? Third season?

Ibaka has been playing great for Spain. Where do you side on the Harden vs. Ibaka debate? Who to keep?

If they have to choose keeping Harden has to be the priority. Berry Tramel makes this point: Who was standing with Durant and Westbrook, watching from the corner of the bench in the final minutes of the Heat's Game 5 title-clinching performance: Harden. He's hard-wired into the culture of the team and its top two stars. I realize Ibaka's upside and it's probably greater than Harden's. But he's also going to be more expensive and he's less woven into the fabric of the franchise. It's a tough call though.

Who's going to run the ball for the Sooners?
