Mike Stoops' contract with University of Oklahoma receives board approval
The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents voted Tuesday to give Mike Stoops a three-year contract as the Sooners' defensive coordinator.
Under the contract, Stoops will receive a base salary of $245,000, $355,000 for personal services and fundraising activities and an annual bonus of $50,000 for each year Stoops remains at the university.
That brings the total value to $1.9 million.
