The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association released its classifications for basketball and wrestling for the 2013-14 season.
While there weren’t many major changes among the large schools in basketball, some of the smaller classes saw some significant movement.
Perhaps the most notable is Millwood, which won the Class 3A boys title last March and the 3A girls title in 2012. The Falcons are moving down to Class 2A for the coming season.
Coyle, last year’s Class B boys state runner-up, moves to Class A this season.
Okarche’s girls won the Class A title last spring, while the boys have made the Class A state tournament six of the last eight years. But the teams are dropping to Class B this season. Cheyenne/Reydon, which qualified both its boys and girls teams for the Class A state touranment last season, also moved down to Class B.
