MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Wave professional indoor soccer team will be looking for a new coach.

In a statement Friday, the team said Coach Keith Tozer and the Wave have "amicably" parted ways after 21 years.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Tozer has more victories than any other coach in North American indoor soccer history. His record includes 23 winning seasons as a head coach, nine "Coach of the Year" awards and six league championships.

The statement said the team was also released from the Major Indoor Soccer League and was in negotiations to join the Professional Arena Soccer League.

The statement said they plan to search for a new coach when they identify a new league.
