NEW YORK (AP) — Police say a body found in New York Harbor is that of a missing Brooklyn fashion designer.
Police identified the body Friday as 31-year-old James Ott. He's been missing from his McKibbin Street home since March 24.
Police say a harbor unit found Ott's body Thursday morning in the water off Pier 4 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
They say the medical examiner has yet to determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
Ott had been design director at the Dock Group since last October.
He previously worked as a senior designer for a company owned by Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen.
