The body of a missing Kingfisher woman was found inside her vehicle in a heavily wooded area near Council Road and 178th Street in Oklahoma City, relatives said.

Betty Simon's granddaughter, Aaron Harbin, said Simon's 2004 Buick LeSabre was found upside down in a ravine Saturday morning.

"I still break down and cry, but gosh, it's so good to find her and have closure," said Angie Habben, another one of Simon's granddaughters. "We're all relieved."

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office confirmed that a body was found inside of Simon's car, but can't confirm the identity of the body until the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office completes an investigation, spokesman Mark Myers said.

Simon went missing June 20 after visiting her husband at Bellevue Assisted Living Center in Oklahoma City. A Silver Alert had been issued.
