TULSA — An 8-year-old Tulsa girl who was abducted Sunday evening has been found, and an Amber Alert for her has been canceled, the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety reports.

The girl, Montserrat Aguirre, was found alive in Sapulpa. A suspect has been arrested, authorities report. The Amber Alert was canceled about 3:10 a.m. Monday, the department reports.

Tulsa police reported Sunday that Montserrat was abducted from The Willow Bend Apartments near 3024 S 101 East Ave. about 7:20 p.m. while playing on a swing set, according to a news release from police spokeswoman Jillian Roberson.

A small white car pulled up and a white male got out, grabbed the girl, put her in the car and drove away, heading west on E 31 Street.
