Missouri scored a run in the bottom of the 11{+t}{+h} inning Sunday and beat visiting Oklahoma 1-0 in a Big 12 softball game that was highlighted by battle between pitchers.

Nicole Hudson had three hits for Missouri, including a two-out game-winner off OU starter Keilani Ricketts. The win gave Missouri a 35-5 overall record, a 9-1 mark in the Big 12 and a sweep of the two-game series.

OU fell to 33-13 and 6-5.

Ricketts and Missouri starter Chelsea Thomas were excellent, both pitching complete games. Ricketts (20-9) allowed 12 hits and three walks, but she also struck out 13. Thomas (20-3) gave up six hits and a walk, and she struck out 17.

OU returns to league play 7 p.m. Friday against Texas A&M in Norman.

Amy Graham hit two home runs, and Simone Freeman struck out 14 Sunday afternoon as Oklahoma State thumped Texas Tech 7-1 in Big 12 softball in Stillwater.

Graham had just one homer entering the game; Freeman totaled the second-most strikeouts by an OSU pitcher since Jessica Hoppock struck out 17 in a 2007 game vs. Central Arkansas.
