Missouri teen shot after Oklahoma Highway Patrol chase

PERRY — Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were returning fire when they shot a 15-year-old boy after a chase on Interstate 35 on Monday, a spokesman said.

The teen is believed to be a runaway from Independence, Mo., patrol Capt. Chris West said.

He was taken to OU Medical Center , where he was in good condition late Monday, West said.

The boy’s name was not released.
