Missouri's road to the Cotton Bowl

Oct. 19 vs. Florida: Win 36-17

Mizzou outgained the Gators 500-151 in total offense and sacked quarterback Tyler Murphy six times. Freshman Maty Mauk threw for 295 yards, one touchdown and one interception in place of an injured Franklin.

Record: 7-0

Oct. 26 vs. South Carolina: Loss 27-24 (double overtime)

Laces out! Mizzou's Andrew Baggett clanked a 24-yard field-goal attempt off the left upright in double overtime, giving South Carolina a stunning victory where it rallied from 17 points down in the second half.

Record: 7-1

Nov. 2 at Tennessee: Win 31-3

The Tigers racked up 339 rushing yards — including 114 from Mauk — to pick up the convincing road win.

Record: 8-1

Nov. 9 at Kentucky: Win 48-17

Dorial Green-Beckham set a school record with four touchdown catches and finished with 100 receiving yards.

Record: 9-1

Nov. 23 at Mississippi: Win 24-10

Franklin threw for 142 yards in his return from injury, and running back Henry Josey tallied 95 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Record: 10-1

Nov. 30 vs. Texas A&M: Win 28-21

Josey's 57-yard touchdown scamper became the decisive score, giving the Tigers the SEC East title.

Dec. 7 vs. Auburn in SEC Championship game: Loss 59-42

Auburn compiled 545 rushing yards — including 304 and four touchdowns from Heisman finalist Tre Mason — to pull away in a shootout.
