MLB prospect reportedly bites off chunk of teammate's ear in fight Published: May 20, 2014

A fight between two Los Angeles Dodgers prospects caused a delay during the eighth inning of a AAA baseball game Tuesday, and according to one player's agent, his ear was "displaced by a bite" during the altercation.

Catcher Miguel Olivo of the Albuquerque Isotopes bit off a chunk of shortstop Alex Guerrero's ear, according to Guerrero's agent, Scott Boras.

Steve Luhm, a sports writer for the Salt Lake Tribune, and Jon Morosi, who covers the MLB for Fox Sports 1, tell the story in the tweets below.
