Blake Griffin's name seems to be rising on projected NBA Draft boards with his impressive play during the Big 12 Conference season. Oklahoma's freshman sensation is averaging 15.2 points and 9.2 rebounds, overcoming two separate knee injuries to do so. Here's a look at his NBA status, according to a few mock drafts:

ESPN.com: No. 8, 2008
Their take: "Athletic big man with a great wingspan and an even better motor. NBA body. Very tough and physical. Decent ball handler for his size and has some touch around the rim. Not a particularly skilled offensive player yet. Relies mostly on his strength and athleticism on both ends of the floor.
NBADraft.net: No. 1, 2009
Their take: "Compares to Karl Malone and Carlos Boozer. Blake is very long and athletic; an excellent physique and build. A ridiculous athlete. Attacks the glass with reckless abandon.”
DraftExpress.com: No. 3, 2009
Their take: "Looking at Griffin, he has some notable questions surrounding his game. On the offensive end, Griffin shows little outside of 10 feet, not possessing a reliable mid-range jumper. He does bring some excellent attributes to the table, and there's little reason to think he won't be a successful pro in time.”
