Moenchengladbach moves to 3rd in Bundesliga

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Borussia Moenchengladbach drew 2-2 with Wolfsburg on Sunday to move past Borussia Dortmund into third place in the Bundesliga.

Moenchengladbach dropped its first points at home this season but still moved into third, one point ahead of Dortmund, which lost 2-1 to Hertha Berlin on Saturday.

Wolfsburg, which got a late equalizer from substitute Bas Dost, is now two points behind Dortmund in fifth and is undefeated in nine games.

Diego connected with a low cross to slot home for Wolfsburg in the 53rd. Raffael broke through on the right to score inside the far post in the 59th and Juan Arango then scored a spectacular goal in the 64th.

This was the last match before the winter break.
