Monday will be sunny in central Oklahoma with a high temperature near 70 degrees.

Temperatures will drop Monday night and rain is possible Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 70. South, southwest wind 5 to 13 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.

Monday night: A chance of rain then rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 a.m. Increasing clouds with a low around 43. Northeast wind 14 to 16 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Tuesday: Rain likely with thunderstorms also possible after 1 p.m. Cloudy with a high near 44. Northeast wind 11 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent

Tuesday night: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 1a.m. then rain likely. Low around 40. Northeast wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Wednesday: Rain likely. Cloudy with a high near 43. North, northeast wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Wednesday night: A 40 percent chance of rain mainly before 1 a.m. Cloudy with a low around 40.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 54.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 41.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 69.

Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 75.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 54.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 71.
