Mo'Ne Davis throws shutout at Little League World Series

Mo'Ne Davis became the first female in Little League World Series history to throw a shutout, as the 13-year-old struck out eight and allowed only two hits in Taney, Pa.'s 4-0 win over Nashville in the first round.


Davis didn't walk a batter for Taney and only needed 70 pitches in six innings.


Taney will face the winner of Texas-Rhode Island on Sunday at 7 p.m. (ESPN2).
