Montana hires tight ends coach

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Montana football coach Mick Delaney has announced the hiring of a tight ends coach.

Kefense Hynson (kah-FIN'-say hen-SON') comes to Montana after coaching the wide receivers at Yale for the past three seasons.

Prior to coaching at Yale, Hynson was an assistant at Western Washington for three years, including two as offensive coordinator.

Hynson has worked with collegiate quarterbacks, receivers, running back and defensive backs. He was director of football operations at Boise State in 2004.

As a player, he was an honorable mention All-America defensive back at Willamette College in Oregon.

Hynson is a native of Oakland, Calif.
