Moore Library plans celebration for Harry Potter's birthday

MOORE — Muggles, aspiring wizards and Harry Potter fans of all ages are invited to a party celebrating the boy wizard's birthday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. July 31 at Moore Public Library, 225 S Howard.

Birthday events include a costume party, snacks and a movie.

Harry Potter is the main character in author J.K. Rowling's series of children's books.

There are seven novels in the fantasy series.

This is the library's third annual birthday party celebrating all things Harry. Partici- pants are asked to dress up like characters from the Harry Potter books.

Registration isn't required for the party.
