MOORE — Moore voters will go to the polls Tuesday to consider a renewal agreement with Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co. to provide electrical services to the city.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and will remain open until 7 p.m.
Voters can cast absentee ballots in person at the county election board office from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Monday.
If approved by voters, OG&E would have a 25-year franchise with the city, granting the company the right to use city easements for electrical service in exchange for a 3 percent tax on electric sales within the city's boundaries.
Customers' bills will not increase as a result of the renewal, OG&E spokesman James Chappel said.
