More Americans using Dr. Internet to figure out their symptoms

It's not uncommon to go to the Internet for an answer as to why you're sick, only to find that you've freaked yourself out.
No, you're not the only one that WebMD has told might have cancer.

New research from the Pew Research Center shows that a good chunk of people are going to the Internet, instead of a doctor, to diagnose medical issues and illnesses.
About 35 percent of adults in the U.S. say they have used the Internet in an attempt to diagnose their medical condition, according to the Pew survey.
And about one-third of those surveyed ended up handling their medical problem on their own.
