More manufacturers add waterproof box calls
The latest trend in spring turkey hunting is the prevalence of waterproof box calls on store shelves.
In the past, turkey hunters have only had a limited selection, but many more manufacturers have recently debuted waterproof box calls.
Knight and Hale's box call has a waterproof coating on all surfaces and never needs chalking. Prices of such calls typically range from $20 to $50.
