More showers and thunderstorms are in the Monday forecast for central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Monday: Showers and thunderstorms mainly before 10 a.m. High near 79. Southeast wind around 8 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.

Monday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 61. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m. Partly sunny with a high near 79. North, northwest wind 8 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 62. North, northwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 88. South wind 5 to 9 mph.

Wednesday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 69.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 83.
