Storms possible
Today may be the beginning of another round of severe weather. The National Weather Service said there is a slight risk for severe storms east of a line from Medford and Enid to Lawton and Wichita Falls, Texas. Forecasters expected strong winds to pull Gulf of Mexico moisture into the state ahead of a strong storm system, an approaching cold front and a dry line.
