UPDATE: Tornado touched down in Comanche County Wednesday night

The National Weather Service reports a tornado touched down in Comanche County Wednesday night. Thunderstorms have moved through central Oklahoma Thursday.

10:20 a.m. A tornado passed through the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service reports. No damage was reported.

Storm damage has been reported in the Gracemont area. Caddo County Emergency Manager Larry McDuffey said heavy winds blew off part of the roof at a bank in downtown Gracemont. Winds and hail also damaged windows and left trees lying in the road, McDuffey said.

6:25 a.m. Rain is moving across Oklahoma City and central Oklahoma Thursday. Thunderstorms and showers can cause flash flooding with heavy downpours. Parts of Oklahoma City received about 1.5 inch of rain overnight.

Electric outages have been reported, and utility poles have toppled. More than 10 utility poles snapped at one location, according to police and fire radio reports. Check NewsOK.com for weather updates.

5 a.m. More thunderstorms are possible in central Oklahoma Thursday, the National Weather Service reports. High winds with gusts up to 55 mph were reported in parts of western Oklahoma early Thursday after a night of storms.

Overnight storms in central Oklahoma downed electric lines across central Oklahoma. Utility poles were toppled at Wilshire Boulevard and Mustang Road.

There is a 60 percent chance of more storms Thursday.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely mainly between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. South wind 18 to 24 mph with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
