More warmth, more snakes

GUYMON -- When the weather warms up, snakes are more pevalent, the Guymon Daily Herald reports.

At least, that's an observation from the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles.


Among residents' more serious concerns are rattlesnakes, the poisonous reptiles that are common in the region.

One woman who lives in the area speaks of her personal experience after being bitten by a rattler.
