Another round of winter weather could be ahead Wednesday in Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.
The high temperature Tuesday will be near 38 degrees with sunshine. Wednesday afternoon skies will be cloudy with a 60 percent chance of rain and snow.
The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:
Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 38. South wind 6 to 10 mph.
Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 30. South, southeast wind 6 to 8 mph.
Wednesday: Rain and snow likely mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy with a high near 38. East, southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Wednesday night: A 20 percent chance of snow before midnight. Cloudy then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 24. North wind 5 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Thursday: Sunny with a high near 53. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.
Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 37.
Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 67.
Friday night: A 30 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy with a low around 39.
Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a high near 43.
Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a low around 32.
