David Morris
Director of Video
Dave Morris serves as Director of Video at OPUBCO, where he's worked since 1996. Morris spent two years as a sports reporter for The Oklahoman before transitioning to online efforts. He has 15 years of digital management with Oklahoman.com and NewsOK.com. During that time OPUBCO's digital efforts have won three regional Edward R. Murrow Awards (2003, 2005, 2012), two EPpy Awards (2004, 2005), a Digital Edge Award (2002), two Katie Awards (2004, 2005) and numerous AP honors. NewsOK's video efforts have been nominated for four Emmy awards and have won multiple Telly and W3 awards. Morris has worked in print, online, radio and in TV, working in the newsroom with CBS affiliate KWTV NEWS 9 from 2000-2007. Morris has an MBA and a BA in broadcasting from Oklahoma City University.
