Kimberly Burk is a Missouri native who spent 20 years working for newspapers in Texas before joining The Oklahoman as an editor in 2002. As a reporter, she most enjoyed the years she spent on the religion beat and covering senior citizen issues. Like many journalists, she is happiest when curled up with a good book. Her favorite book is the atlas, and her favorite building is the airport, launching point for her next great adventure. She sang two seasons with the Canterbury Choral Society and has recently taken up clogging.
